Position Title: Machine Operator

Full/Part-time: Full-time

Wage:             $28-$35 +/hour (based on experience)

Location:        Bancroft, Madoc & Surrounding Areas

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team for projects in the Bancroft and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating heavy equipment, a solid understanding of site work, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators and mini excavators
• Operate skid steer and assist with general site work
• Transport equipment using 1-ton truck and float
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation tasks
• Work closely with site supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and job site protocols

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators (mandatory)
• Experience with skid steer and general equipment operation
• Experience operating 1-ton truck and float
• Experience with rototilt is considered an asset
• AZ license is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of residential and site development work preferred

Work Environment

• Projects located in Bancroft, Madoc, and surrounding areas
• Travel within a reasonable radius required
• Outdoor, physically demanding work environment
