Food Bank Associate -Summer Temp (2 positions)

35 hours a week at 16.55/hr (32.5hrs, plus 30min unpaid lunch)

Start as soon as possible. Employment ends August 30th, 2024

These positions are meant to assist in covering time taken off by volunteers and staff during the summer.

Duties include but are not limited to:

·         Will be cross train to multiple positions for example: Client Intake, special projects, sorting food, packing hampers and general cleaning.

·         Assist in collecting client data and entering it into the database.

·         Assist drivers in collecting donations and delivering hampers to clients.

·         General office duties and responsibilities

·         Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

·         The ability to kneel, crouch, bend, reach and lift for prolonged periods of the day.

·         Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices

·         Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

·         Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

·         Time management and organizational skills.

·         Ability to work well independently and as a team.

·         Experience with Microsoft Office software

·         Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 20lbs.
