Community Coordinator

About the Position:
At Build Your Private Practice (www.buildyourprivatepractice.ca) we specialize in helping
Canadian mental health practitioners launch, grow and scale their private practice. We offer 4
exclusive, high-touch and transformative programs, designed specifically for each stage of
private practice.

Our Community Coordinator is a key player in the delivery and success of our programs on the
operations team. As the Community Coordinator, you will be customer-facing. You will provide
community engagement and support services to members within our community, as well as be
the first point of contact for potential new members.
The right applicant will have exceptional communication and relational skills, and be passionate
about helping others and problem solving. This is a part-time, on-site position. Approximately
15 hours per week to start, with a strong opportunity for growth. We anticipate this position’s
hours to significantly increase over the next 6 – 12 months, with the possibility down the road for
full-time hours. We would love to find someone excited to grow with us.

The Community Coordinator is on the BYPP customer service front line. Key responsibilities include:
-Community management of our private Facebook group and inside of our membership
community.
– Responding to customer inquiries via email.
– Directing customer inquiries to the appropriate team member.
– Providing an exceptional customer experience at all levels of interaction.
– Overseeing the marketing and operations of our monthly workshops
– Seeking opportunities to enhance our members’ experience.
– Seeking opportunities within the community to upsell and/or promote our memberships
and products to potential customers (this is not a sales role, but those with natural sales
and marketing skills would excel in this position).
Other responsibilities include:
– Update KPIs sheet both weekly and monthly.
– Create and update SOPs on a regular basis.
– Assisting the operations manager with various admin tasks.
– Attending weekly team meetings.

Experience Requirements:
– Previous experience with customer service duties and in a customer-service facing role.
– Previous experience with various digital business platforms and software.

-Works well with deadlines and on timelines.
– Prior experience in a sales or marketing role would be an asset.
– Proficient using: Google Suite, Zoom, ClickUp, Slack, Facebook, Canva, ConvertKit,
Mighty Networks, Jane App, Telus Health Network
-Not required but great to have – proficient using: Calendly, Zapier.

Compensation:
$20 CAD/hour. 15 hour per week to start with potential to grow. Must be able to commit 15
hours per week, spread over 4-5 days (Monday – Friday).
