Job description
Welch LLP is currently looking for a Tax Season Assistant for our Campbellford office. This position is for three months and will be onsite at our office in Campbellford.
Responsibilities:
-Sort and calculate client tax information for return preparation and processing afterwards
-Process client payments of cash, cheque or POS
-Printing, emailing, faxing, filing and updating/maintaining detailed tracking lists
-Respond accurately and timely to partner, staff and outside requests
-Call clients to let them know their returns are ready for pickup
-Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
-Experience as a receptionist or office manager
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong customer service focus
-Strong organization skills and attention to detail
-Ability to work with numbers; demonstrates accuracy
-Ability to follow directions, instructions/procedures efficiently and accurately
-Works well under pressure
-Strong teaming skills
-Accounting or bookkeeping experience would be an asset
-Ability to work overtime, if required
