Summer Position at Universal Seal in Bancroft

Position: Summer Job (June to August)

Location: 148 McDonald Mine Road, Bancroft, ON. 

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Scale: Minimum wage or student minimum wage (based on candidate’s age)

Work Hours: 10-hour days

Start time: 7:00 AM

End time: 5:00 PM

Fridays and statutory holidays off

Summer Break: Factory closed from July 29th to August 9th

* Position resumes when the factory reopens on August 12^th *

Job Description: The selected employee will primarily be responsible for cleaning molds used in the processing of polyurethane seals. This involves using a sandblasting machine for mold cleaning. Additional duties include general factory cleaning, dusting areas that are infrequently used, and identifying recyclable debris. The goal is to maintain a neat and organized factory environment.

Qualifications:

Hardworking and committed to putting in a full day’s work

Ability to lift a 40-pound mold

Comfortable working in warm conditions

Must arrange own transportation to work
