Nufloors Quinte is a locally owned flooring store committed to delivering high-quality flooring solutions and exceptional customer experiences. We combine trusted products, expert installation, and modern digital tools to help customers make confident design decisions. We are seeking a Design Sales Representative who brings together design expertise, customer service excellence, and technical confidence to support our growing digital platforms.

Customer Design & Sales

•Consult with clients to understand design preferences, lifestyle needs, and projectgoals.
•Recommend flooring products, colours, textures, and finishes that align withcustomer vision and budget.
•Perform accurate measurements, calculations, and cost estimates.
•Explain installation requirements, timelines, and next steps clearly andprofessionally.
•Provide solutions to customer concerns to ensure a positive, supportive experience.
•Maintain a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment.

Project Coordination

•Collaborate with installers, contractors, and internal team members to coordinateproject details.
•Ensure accurate documentation and smooth handoff from sales to installation.

Digital Tools & Technology

•Use Roomvu and similar visualization tools to help customers see flooring optionsin their space.
•Implement and maintain Roomvu’s automated video and social media tools tosupport customer education and store marketing.
•Assist in the future rollout of a CRM platform by:
•Helping input and maintain accurate customer data
•Supporting team adoption and training
•Using CRM tools to follow up with leads and enhance customer communication

Marketing & Social Media Support

•Contribute to social media content and posting as needed.
•Ensure consistent branding and messaging across digital platforms.

Qualifications:

•Experience in sales, interior design, flooring, or construction-related industries is anasset.
•Strong design sense with excellent colour coordination skills.
•Proficiency with measurements, calculations, and basic math.
•Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Comfortable using MS Office.
•Familiarity with social media platforms is an asset.
•Technical confidence to learn and maintain Roomvu, and CRM tools.
 Position Summary: The Design Sales Representative guides customers through the flooring selection process, prepares accurate estimates, and supports projects from consultation through installation. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for colour and design, a solid understanding of construction and installation basics, excellent measurement and math skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. This role also supports the implementation of digital tools such as Roomvu, and—over time—a CRM platform that will enhance customer engagement and sales efficiency.
