Project Duration: Approximately 2 Months  (start July 15)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

Shoreline Restoration Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Labourer to join our team for a dam rehabilitation project at Paudash Lake Dam in Faraday, Ontario. This position involves heavy civil construction work in an outdoor environment and requires individuals who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and experienced in concrete construction.

Scope of Work

• Jack hammering and concrete removal
• Formwork construction and installation
• Concrete placement, finishing, and pouring
• General heavy civil construction labour
• Material handling and site clean-up
• Assisting equipment operators and skilled trades as required
• Following all site safety procedures and project requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Concrete Labourer in heavy civil construction
• Experience with jack hammering, concrete forming, and concrete placement
• Valid WHMIS Certification
• Valid Working at Heights Certification
• Own reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Must provide and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Required PPE

• CSA-approved hard hat
• CSA-approved safety boots
• High-visibility clothing
• Safety glasses and gloves
• Personal flotation device (life jacket) for work near water
• Any additional PPE required by site safety regulations

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work environment
• Heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks
• Working near water and around heavy equipment
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
