Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Serve dishes promptly and efficiently during service hours
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Follow sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or related food industry roles
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Excellent understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of serving standards and customer service principles is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
• Food Safety Certificate required
