Your Role:
- Lead electrical control system projects through design, build and commissioning
- Design, program, test and commission PLC & HMI software
- Collaborate with clients and co-workers to deliver custom projects
- Evaluate and implement new technologies
- Assist with new BCS product development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Experience designing control systems
- Analyze and interpret specifications
- Take customer concepts and develop detailed engineering documentation
- Experience with: PLCs (e.g. Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens), HMIs (e.g. Siemens WinCC,
- FactoryTalkView), VFDs, motor controls, industrial networks and instrumentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience That Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience leading projects
- Knowledge of marine and/or industrial processes
- Knowledge of IEC standard
- Onsite start-up and commissioning
- Hazardous area design
- 3D drafting
Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license (G2 or G)
- Valid passport for international travel
