Sales / Business Development Representative

We are seeking a part-time Sales / Business Development Representative who can actively generate new business and close service contracts. This role is outcome-focused and best suited for someone who is motivated by results and learning professional sales skills.
20 hours per week | Base Pay + Commission

Handy Fairies Cleaning Services Corp. is a local, established cleaning company providing commercial janitorial services to offices, clinics, and facilities in the Kingston–St. Lawrence region.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and approach local businesses (offices, clinics, property managers)
Conduct outreach (phone, email, in-person visits where appropriate)
Book meetings and site visits
Present services and pricing clearly
Follow up with prospects and close recurring service agreements
Track outreach and results using a simple tracking sheet
WORK HOURS
20 hours per week
Fixed schedule (during business hours)
Flexible within agreed days/times
COMPENSATION
Base Pay
$18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Commission
10–15% of the first month’s invoice for each new client
Paid after contract is signed and first payment is received
No cap on commission earnings
This role includes clear performance benchmarks:
First 30 days: training + active outreach
By 60 days: at least one closed client
By 90 days: at least two active clients
