Position: Automotive Body Technician

Location: Bancroft CARSTAR, 9 Armstrong Lane

Compensation: $24/hr plus production bonus

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

As a Body Shop Body Technician, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, conducting body repairs, and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a high level of technical skill in bodywork and refinishing.

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform bodywork on damaged vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, frame repairs, and other collision-related repairs.

– Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard of quality, following manufacturer guidelines and CARSTAR protocols.

– Work closely with estimators and other shop staff to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

– Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Body Shop Body Technician.

– Proficiency in body repair techniques, including welding, panel replacement, and frame straightening.

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

– Valid driver’s license.
