Location: 

Belleville, ON

Hours: 

40hrs/wk; 7:30-4:00 with a 30 minute lunch
Monday – Friday with an occasional Saturday rotation based on operational needs

Salary:

$15.50-$17.00/hr 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Work independently under the supervision of the Cemetery Foreman

Lawn Cutting

Trim around buildings, monuments etc. using line trimmers

Weed Gardens

Fertilize and seed

Flower planting

Learn minor maintenance and repairs on lawn equipment

General maintenance of the cemetery grounds

Assist with burial and interments if comfortable doing so

Other tasks as assigned by the Foreman or General Manager

Maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications:

An excellent experience for secondary and post secondary students

Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not required

Reliable transportation to work

Detail oriented with an ability to follow directions

Ability to work as part of a team

SAFETY ORIENTED IS A MUST
