Position summary

The Funding Coordinator will assist in the administration and coordination of the Passport and Purchase of Service programs. • Monitor funding tracking spreadsheet, and email account for incoming requests and inquiries • Complete intake forms for Passport recipients • Liaison with Passport funding Administrator • Order and coordinate purchasing of eligible items • Attend virtual provincial passport meetings, and other meetings as needed • Schedule and supervise purchase of service employees • Liaison between staff/managers and families in the Purchase of Service program • Provide regular updates and data to Leadership team • Promote independence with Passport recipients Skills & Abilities: • Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of NHCIA within the workplace and in the community • Ability to think critically and engage in proactive problem solving • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word and virtual platforms • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours Qualifications: • An understanding of the developmental services sector, and Passport program would be a strong asset • Post-secondary education in an administrative field • Experience handling sensitive information with a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality • Clean criminal record check including vulnerable sector screening • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (emergency level or higher) • A valid full G class driver’s license, a clean driving record, access to a reliable vehicle, 6A endorsement, and $1,000,000 liability coverage
