As a member of the Maintenance team, the Industrial Mechanic is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process to achieve our Focused 5 goals.
They do this by:
Adhering to safety rules in all undertakings. All team members must be willing to Say Anything to contribute to our safety culture
Executing preventative maintenance with the goal of eliminating losses due to unplanned downtime
Working with Operators to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
Repairing on-site equipment safely and efficiently
Working together as one team, regardless of position or title, with one agenda to achieve zero losses

The Maintenance team works either a 12-hour continental shift schedule OR 8 hour day shift Monday-Friday.
The Industrial Mechanic works on a broad range of heavy industrial equipment. This includes high speed aluminum rolling mills, batch and continuous strip heat-treating furnaces, various configurations of coil slitting and tension levelling, process and cleaning lines and all the related support equipment such as overhead cranes, drive systems, pumping systems, material handling equipment, etc.
