* Forklift experience preferred
* Experience with a REACH truck preferred.
Pay rate: $20.19/hr: Additional shift premium will apply for evening and overnight shifts
As directed by the Shift Manager, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading, and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.
Administers and operates the organization’s warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment |
Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store’s facilities; audits goods received into warehouse
Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
Ensure that the company policies and procedures are respected
Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvement
Ensure that work areas are kept safe, organized, and clean
Operate power lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner when required
High school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds independently and greater weights in a team-lift environment
Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset
Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computers and automation
Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period on low level machinery, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment preferred
Basic math and English reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
Strong focus on Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction
Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
A clear criminal record will be required
